A Gibson Les Paul is kind of the pinnacle for some players. They've all had them haven't they? Page, Moore, Green, Clapton, Slash, Lifeson to name a few... oh yeah, and Les Paul himself no less! But sometimes, especially in our "economic climate", buying an actual Gibson is something of a dream.
Now we're not saying an Epiphone is a poor-man's Gibson. Epiphone stands on it's own, an entirely outstanding guitar brand with it's own entity simply owned by Gibson and using pickups designed by them.
The Les Paul standard has a slim-tapered set neck protruding from it's Alder/Mahogany body with a carved maple top. A 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard houses the iconic Gibson trapezoid inlays leading right up to Mr Les Paul's signature on the headstock. Classic Gibson favoured hardware can be found at the Locktone Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The pickups are Gibson designed, Alnico Classic humbuckers wired to the standard Gibson way of two volumes, two tones and a 3-way pickup selector.
This is a left-handed model.
